And I love my bicycle haha!
It is great that you are in art academy, especially since art is not so common in Turkey.
I can imagine that studying in the paint department also helps you in your carving/sculpting (shapes and compositions and such). Even though I do think 2D and 3D art are pretty different too, in a way.
I have no education in art at all, but I love to discover different crafts and ways of expressing myself through art. It is my favorite way to spend my free time, doing something completely different from the work I do as an engineer 40 hours a week.
I have this artistic creativity burning inside me that just needs to come out sometimes!
My job is also challenging and fun, so I am happy to be able to work in technology, and sculpt in my free time. It's a lovely combo.
Maybe I'll incorporate some technical elements in my sculptures in the future. I definately want to spend more time on art than I currently do.
Who knows perhaps one day I will take some classes in art and switch to becoming an artist when I get bored with technology and physics.
Are these stone carvings?
